Question of the Day: Which Big Ten team will have the best ground game in ’10?

The Big Ten as a whole houses some of the best runners in the nation right now. I’m excited to see which team dominates in rushing this season. It’s hard to argue against Ohio State since Pryor, Saine, and Herron combined for over 2000 yards on the ground.

Wisconsin has always been home to some great runners, and this year John Clay hopes to top his 1,500 from a season ago. Wisconsin pretty much returns its entire starting O-line so this team should be deadly on the ground.

Iowa has a three-headed monster of it’s own (depending on what happens with Wegher). Over in Happy Valley, Penn State returns a 1000-yard workhorse in Evan Royster so an argument could be made here.

And what about Illinois?? Damn, I’m getting exhausted thinking about all these teams!
